GAFFNEY, SC – April 20, 2016 – Freightliner Custom Chassis is expanding its industry-leading dealer training regime with new digital and in-person efforts.

FCCC launched an expanded in-person dealer training program at the beginning of 2016, with initial sessions concentrated on some of the largest RV dealerships in the western United States and Canada.

Training locations so far in 2016 have included Transwest and Lazydays RV America in the Denver area; Le Mesa RV and Desert Autoplex in the greater Phoenix area; Calgary Bucars RV and Woody’s RV in Alberta; and Allan Dale RV in Red Deer, Alberta. Additional dealership training has taken place at RV One, Lazydays, Camping World and General RV in the Tampa / St. Petersburg area.  These in-person sessions are just the latest in an extensive effort by FCCC to increase its training operations and outreach among dealerships through the U.S. and Canada with dedicated manpower and the use of emerging technologies.

“Dealers selling the best products in the industry deserve the best training and education in the industry,” explains Joe Snyder, manager of dealer marketing and training for FCCC.  “It goes hand in hand with who we are and our ‘Driven by You’ philosophy. It’s especially exciting to be able to expand that training experience exponentially through the innovative use of digital technology."

In addition to the increase in in-person dealership training events, FCCC launched the SalesHQ Academy at the National Trade Show by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association in December 2015. The SalesHQ Academy makes available interactive online courses designed to equip dealership personnel with the most powerful selling and service points for FCCC products, increasing sales and customer loyalty as a result.

The Academy launched with two initial courses, with each taking approximately 10-15 minutes from start to finish. FCCC will continue to develop and add new courses to the Academy throughout 2016.

“A dealership sales staff’s time is at a premium, which makes online training that can be done at their pace and convenience incredibly valuable,” said Bryan Henke, manager of product marketing for FCCC. “Dealers are our customers’ customers, which is why we are constantly providing them the tools and resources they need to drive their sales and provide the best buying and service experience they can."

The online training is available to approximately 450 dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada at FCCCRV.com/academy. Dealership managers can also sign up sales groups to track activity and performance by contacting Snyder at joe.snyder@daimler.com
